The Hardest Lesson (A Dramatic Dialogue About Depression)

Depression and loneliness are the overlooked pandemic. There are many reports of skyrocketing suicide rates during this time of isolation. I have personally heard of young people in Manitoba just giving up. It isn’t that they need more money or more entertainment. People need purpose, hope, and human interaction. A government committee can’t really tackle things like that. Motions and meetings are necessary but it is hard to say that they provide a transcendent purpose for life. This is something that we can all play a part in. Looking for a “ministry” opportunity or a big chance to change the world? You may not be able to change the world, but you may be able to change the world for one person. Below is a video that relates to that. Check it out. It is actually two performances edited together…but the base is a live storytelling session I did on CFRY…once upon a time.
