but have I really won if all I’ve done
is to shout my opinion
louder than the truth?

What about grace
and peace?
Is Grace only the name of a girl
that everyone ignores
in the classroom of life?
I could force you down a path
overgrown with the rag weeds of gossip
but would that really help you see what is real?
What if you can’t see what I do
because what I see is only a creation of my imagination?

or red?
What about truth
and grace?
Is grace only a child
to be sacrificed on the altar of war?
Does grace still exist
